The December 2011 SmartVault service update (11.112.119.715) includes the following updates:
SmartVault Portal
This service update includes the following updates to the SmartVault portal:
- SmartVault now provides an App Marketplace in the SmartVault portal. SmartVault users can use the App Marketplace to find applications that integrate with SmartVault. To access the App Marketplace, sign in to the SmartVault portal. Then click My Info > App Marketplace.
- If you are a SmartVault Development partner and you have a SmartVault Developer account, you can use the Developer Clients tab to view and edit existing clients or create new clients. To access the Developer Clients tab, sign in to the SmartVault portal, select your Developer account in the left tree pane, and then select the Developer Clients tab.
This service update addresses the following issues in the SmartVault portal:
- When using the Activity Log, the Activity Log did not display records or give any indicaion that it was working when the browser was busy. This issue has been addressed, and the Activity Log now displays a loading wheel when the browser is loading data to indicate that the Activiy Log is working.
- If you have a SmartVault Affiliate account, when you tried to change account properties for the account, you could not change the properties. This issue has now been addressed, and you can change the account properties for a SmartVault Affiliate account.
SmartVault Desktop Software
This service update addresses the following issues in the SmartVault Desktop software:
- When using QuickBooks 2012, the SmartVault Toolbar did not display as active when working with maximized sub-windows for supported transaction types. This issue has now been addressed, and the SmartVault Toolbar now displays as active when working in QuickBooks 2012 in both single and multiple window modes for both normal and maximized windows.
- When trying to map a SmartVault Drive on a Windows 2003 Server, when you right-click on the SmartVault icon in the notification area of the computer and then click Map SmartVault Drive, an error message displayed. This issue has now been addressed, and when you click Map SmartVault Drive, a help topic displays explaining how to map a SmartVault Drive on a Windows 2003 Server.
- When using the SmartVault Inbox, when you try to move a document that has already been uploaded into the default Inbox folder for a QuickBooks company file or into a custom folder and attach the document to an entry in QuickBooks, the document does not move. This issue ocurred if you were trying to move a file that has the same name as a document already stored in the folder for the QuickBooks entry. This issue has now been addressed, and if you try to move a file with the same name as another document already stored in the folder, SmartVault renames the file correctly.
SmartVault Web SDK
This service update includes an expanded REST interface with fixes for the SmartVault Web SDK.
SmartVault Deskop Software SDK
This service update did not include updates to the SmartVault Desktop software SDK.
