Error: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8004030A): Unsupported qbXML version

Symptom

Error: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8004030A): Unsupported qbXML version displays.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, update the SmartVault Desktop software installed on your computer to the most current version.

To update the SmartVault Desktop software:

  1. Right-click the SmartVault icon in your system tray and sign in to SmartVault.
  2. Right-click the SmartVault icon in your system tray again, and then click SmartVault Launchpad.
  3. Click SmartVault Updates.
  4. If you do not have the latest version of the SmartVault Desktop software, click Install Now.
  5. Click Close.
