The following bugs were fixed with this release:

  • We now provide a safeguard for Tax Plan users when sending tax returns to clients. You will receive a warning if you’ve yet to print a Government Filing Copy or a Client Copy and your tax return email template includes links for these tax return types. If you don’t want to send one of these tax return types, follow the steps here to remove the Government Filing Copy or Client Copy from your tax return email template.
  • You can now choose to hide your Recycle Bin and/or your Document Version History from clients on a Tax Plan or any user utilizing a guest user license type. By default, we’ve set this to hide your Recycle Bin and your Document Version History. Follow the steps here to change this default setting.
  • We’ve fixed an issue where tax clients could access the SmartVault Dashboard from the Connected Desktop.
  • We’ve fixed an issue in which one Intuit Customer Account Number could be bound to multiple SmartVault accounts. Intuit Customer Account Numbers can now only be bound to one SmartVault account.
  • We’ve fixed an issue that caused some activation emails to never be sent.
  • We’ve fixed an issue preventing some users from deleting or moving old files in SmartVault.
  • Employee users should now show in the Send Link dialog when you select Employees as the filter.
  • We’ve resolved an issue with our billing system that prevented some customers from receiving an invoice after their trial expired. Some customers who previously had not received an invoice should receive one after this release.
  • Various other bug fixes
