Inviting Clients via the Dashboard or Connected Desktop

• This method of inviting clients requires access to the SmartVault Dashboard within the Portal

o Applies to SmartVault Accountants and Tax Plans

o Business Plan guides within SmartVault University: http://www.smartvault.com/smartvault...siness-owners/

• Each client must have at least 1 valid email address

o It is always best to check and update a client’s contact information before importing their data into SmartVault

 

• Use the Client Dashboard to:

o Invite clients individually or in bulk

o Normally used during setup of SmartVault account

o Allows you to filter clients by type and invitation status

 

• Use the Connected Desktop to:

o Invite clients individually

o SmartVault account established; most clients already invited

o Allows you to edit client contact information before inviting

o Fastest method by which to find an invite a client
