Troubleshooting Guide: Outlook Plugin

When all other steps fail, the SmartVault Support team needs the log files for the SmartVault application.

Send Log Files to SmartVault Support


  1. Open Windows File Explorer.
  2. In the address bar, type in "%appdata%.
  3. Browse to the SmartVault folder > SVWidgets folder.
  4. Right click on the Logs folder and select Send To > Compressed folder.
  5. Send an email to SmartVault Support with the attached zip file.
  6. Include your name and phone number and a description of the error message or the symptom you are experiencing.
