Users Without Vault Cannot See Folders

Overview

Follow the steps below to work around an issue where the clients can no longer view their file(s) and folder(s). The user must at least be a "Guest" license in order to send the user a link to their specific folder. 

Steps

  1. Open the SmartVault portal
  2. Navigate to the folder you want to share with the client.
  3. Right-Click on the folder and click "Send Link To Folder"


     
  4. Select the user that you want to have access to and click "Send". 


     
  5. Once the client receives the email, they will need to click on the link to see the actual folder and files you wanted them to view or download.
