Error: You are not viewing an entry that supports attaching documents
This issue typically occurs when you are trying to use a Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner to scan documents into the SmartVault Inbox but you have the SmartVault Toolbar profile selected instead.
To resolve this issue, ensure that you have configured a SmartVault Inbox profile for you Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner.
Then verify that the SmartVault Inbox profile is selected.
To select the SmartVault Inbox profile:
- In your computer system tray, left-click the ScanSnap icon and verify that there is a check box in front of the SmartVault Inbox profile.
- If there is not a check box in front of the SmartVault Inbox profile, click SmartVault Inbox to select theSmartVault Inbox profile.
- Sign in to SmartVault.
- Right-click the SmartVault icon in your system tray, and then click SmartVault Inbox to open the SmartVault Inbox.
- Place the document you want to scan into your ScanSnap scanner, and then press the Scan button on the scanner.
Your scan should complete successfully, and the error message should no longer display.
