Someone tried to share a file with me. Do I need to create my own SmartVault account to access it?

 

If you are trying to access a file that someone sent you via SmartVault, you do NOT need to create a new SmartVault account. Simply follow the link that was emailed to you, and follow the prompts to create your username and password. Once you've created your user ID, you'll be able to access the document.

 

If you are not being prompted to create a password, it's possible that you have already created your user ID. If you don't remember your password, you can click here to reset it.
