Disconnecting an existing RightSignature account from SmartVault

Overview

This page will show you how to disconnect an active, expired, or closed RightSignature from SmartVault.  Disconnecting RightSignature will allow you to use another e-signature solution with SmartVault.

 

Citrix has completed their purchase of RightSignature and has decided to no longer allow 3rd party integrations with the latest version of RightSignature, called RS4.  Current RightSignature customers who are still on RS3 will be able to integrate with SmartVault, but all new Citrix customers will not be.  Citrix will convert all existing RightSignature customers to RS4 in August of 2018, so current RightSignature integrations with SmartVault will continue to function until then.

Steps

  1. Log in to your SmartVault account through the SmartVault Portal.
  2. In the Portal Dashboard View (If your view looks different, click here)Client Portal - Dashboard View - Masthead.png
    • click on the Dashboard - Account Settings or Gear Icon (22x23).png icon near the top right corner of the webpage to get to your Account Settings
       
  3.  Click on Configure Integrations in the left column under Manage Account.

  4. Click on the blue RightSignature text and then click the Disconnect button on the page that appears.

    • Only SmartVault Admins can Disconnect a RightSignature integration, so if you are currently sending documents through RightSignature, but you cannot Disconnect, speak to an Admin on your SmartVault account.
       
  5. You can now click on the Dashboard - Account Settings or Gear Icon (22x23).png Account Settings icon again and to return to the Configure Integrations page to select another integration or click on your logo to return to the main Dashboard View.

Considerations

 

RightSignature integrations can only be initiated or disconnected by an Admin on a SmartVault account.

 

DocuSign integrations can be initiated or disconnected by Admins or Users/Employees on a SmartVault account.  To avoid getting bombarded with email notifications concerning all the documents each employee sends out for e-signature through DocuSign, a SmartVault Admin should ask each employee to setup their own DocuSign integration under the same account.
