Cut, Copy, and Paste Tools in Connected Desktop

Overview

You can use the Cut, Copy, and Paste tools to move files to your computer from Connected Desktop or from your computer to Connected Desktop. Cut, Copy, and Paste operate in the exact same way as when used in Windows File Explorer.

Cut removes a file from one location and places the file in the location to which you Paste.

Copy creates an additional copy of the file, making no changes to the original file, and places that copy in the location to which you Paste.
