Open a Client in the Portal from Connected Desktop


You can open a client profile in the Client Portal directly from the Connected Desktop. Often this can help you by utilizing the search capabilities within the Connected Desktop to located a client in a large client list. Then, you can easily make changes in the Client Portal to that client—such as updating an email address.



  1. Search for a client in the Connected Desktop.
  2. Right click on the client and select Open client in Portal.

  3. The client profile opens in your web browser. Please note: you might need to sign in to the SmartVault Client Portal if you have not already signed in.
