This article explains how to rename folders in the SmartVault Client Portal. The instructions below can be applied to accounts, vaults and folders.
Note: Only account administrators, tax employees, and Vault Managers can create, move, copy, or rename folders.
- Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
- In the file tree pane, browse to the folder you want to move and then select that folder.
- In the left tree pane, right-click that folder and click Rename.
- Type the new name of the folder, then hit Enter.
