Rename a Folder in the SmartVault Portal

This article explains how to rename folders in the SmartVault Client Portal. The instructions below can be applied to accounts, vaults and folders.


Note: Only account administrators, tax employees, and Vault Managers can create, move, copy, or rename folders. 
  1. Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
  2. In the file tree pane, browse to the folder you want to move and then select that folder.
  3. In the left tree pane, right-click that folder and click Rename
  4. Type the new name of the folder, then hit Enter.
