Upload Files Using the SmartVault Portal

You can upload documents to the SmartVault Portal by browsing through your files on your computer or you can just drag and drop files from Windows File Explorer to the Upload window.

If your plan gives you access to the SmartVault Connected Desktop in order to store client information and documents, you can upload files using the Connected Desktop as well.

If you're a Guest or Tax Client who is invited to a SmartVault account, see this article to upload files in the SmartVault Client Portal: Upload Files to SmartVault Using the SmartVault Client Portal as a Guest or Client User

  1. Select the folder to which you will upload the document.
  2. Under Folder Tasks, click Upload Files.

  4. Drag and drop files to the upload window or click Browse to find the file to upload.
