View Access and Notification Settings
Overview
As of the October 30th release, we removed the Access and Notification Settings display that appeared beneath the client vault view for all user types. For folders with many users having access, the time to compute this list could slow down the display of the screen and was becoming a drag on performance for all users of the system.
Previously, this Access and Notification Settings box would display for users in administrator roles in SmartVault, such as Vault Managers, Account Administrators, and Employees (for Tax Plan users).
The client vault view now appears without the Access and Notification Settings:
You can still access this feature if you have a SmartVault account in an administrator role. A View Access and Notification Settings button now appears over the client vault view when you select a vault or a folder.
Click the button to open the View Access and Notification Settings box to view the same features as the Access and Notification Settings previously displayed under a client vault.
