Custom Brand Your Client Portal (Video)

Learn how to customize your
SmartVault client portal with your own color schemes and logo:

 

 

Before You Begin

  • Determine your subdomain. The default domain is my.smartvault.com. You will replace the my dot (my.) with a subdomain of your choosing, e.g., mycompany.smartvault.com.
  • Make sure that you have the logo you want to use for your client portal header and sign-in page, as well as the logo you want to use for your email header. (You can use the same logo for both headers.)
  • The logos must be .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .tif, or .tiff files, and no greater than 340 pixels in width by 60 pixels in height. To resize your logo, you can use Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop, or an online service like PicResize or PIXLR
  • You can use a tool like ColorZilla to find out the colors of your website or any site you like the look of. See ColorZilla for Firefox.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
  2. Select the account name in the left pane under My Accounts.
  3. In the right task pane, click Customize Branding.
  4. Specify a subdomain for your portal.
  5. Specify settings for your portal header, or masthead.
  6. Specify settings for your navigation links.
  7. Specify settings to customize the notification emails that SmartVault automatically sends out from your SmartVault account.
  8. Click Save.
